CCTV footage released after luxury items valued at $ 460,000 in Sydney was stolen


Police have released CCTV footage of a man who may be able to help with investigations after nearly 100 luxury items – valued at over $ 460,000 – were stolen from a Sydney store on New Years day.

At around 3:30 a.m. last Saturday (January 1, 2022), a man broke into a luxury goods store on George Street and left shortly after with a handbag.

The man entered the store with two wheeled trash cans and left shortly after, taking other handbags and clothes in the trash cans.

The estimated value of the stolen items – which amounts to nearly 100 items – is over $ 460,000.

Officers attached to the Sydney City Police Zone Command have been informed of the incident and have initiated investigations.

As investigations continue, police have released images of a man who may be able to assist them with their investigations.

The man is depicted in the images as Caucasian in appearance, of medium build, and wears a white t-shirt, black shorts, a navy and white “Fendi” baseball cap, a black backpack and sweaters. white “Asic” shoes with white ankle socks.
